We were delighted to welcome Alison Ramsey from Barn Church to share this at our service, and she spoke on one of the names of God - Jehovah Rapha, which means 'The Lord who heals'. However the first time we see God revealing this name to us, is significant and points us to our greatest need - to be forgiven.

We may not know why we go through our Lions' Den, but if we trust God, then God can use our Lions' Den to trigger a chain of events that can bring about God's purpose in a way that is beyond our comprehension.

It seems we read more about Darius when Daniel was in the Lions' Den than we do about Daniel who was actually in the Lions' Den. This contrast points us to what it means to Trust in God. In the Lions' Dens that we face, or are in, what do we do? Do we respond like Darius or do we trust, and have peace like Daniel did - even when in a Lions' Den

Daniel was a man of integrity holding firm to his values of following God's instructions, glorifying God, and letting nothing hinder his relationship with God. As those who have received salvation from Jesus, we are called to live lives of integrity, and we have the help of the Holy Spirit to help us make those choices.

A special thanksgiving service recognising God’s goodness as Trinity remains a place of Worship. Between 150-200 people attended from over 24 different churches across the city of Inverness and beyond. Rev David Scott (Inshes East) brings shares God's word from the book of Philippians and Chris & Sarah Dowling (co-Pastors of King's Inverness) lead us in prayer for our city. Pastors Robbie & Karen also share a little of the story of how ICF came to purchase this building. A very encouraging & uplifting service.

As we return to our Daniel series, we do so in a slightly different way. The story of Daniel in the Lion's Den is a well known story, but it contains remarkable truths, and in this message Robbie & Karen focus on the priority Daniel gave to prayer. Do we give prayer that same priority?
